This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data through the liteconsulting.eu website operated by LITE Consulting.

2. Personal data processed

When using the contact form, the Controller processes the following data:

• name;
• company name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• area of interest;
• content of the message;
• website address, if voluntarily provided.

The message may also contain other personal data voluntarily provided by the data subject.

3. Purpose of processing

The purpose of processing is to enable contact, respond to inquiries, provide requested information, discuss services and prepare a possible business relationship. Data submitted through the contact form is not automatically used for newsletters or direct marketing.

4. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing data submitted through the contact form is the data subject's consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. Where the inquiry leads to steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, processing may also be based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

5. Retention period

Personal data relating to an inquiry is retained for a maximum of 12 months, unless the inquiry results in a contractual or other legal relationship, or applicable law requires a longer retention period.

6. Processors and recipients

The Controller uses RackForest for website hosting and Microsoft 365 for email services. These service providers may process personal data to the extent necessary to provide their respective technical services. Access to personal data is limited to persons and service providers for whom it is necessary for handling inquiries or operating the website and email service.

7. International data transfers

Microsoft provides Microsoft 365 under its applicable data protection terms and operates the EU Data Boundary for covered services. Certain limited processing or transfers outside the European Economic Area may nevertheless occur where permitted by applicable data protection law and subject to the safeguards provided by Microsoft. LITE Consulting does not independently transfer contact-form data to third countries for marketing or profiling purposes.

8. Cookies and tracking

The website does not use analytics, advertising, marketing or profiling cookies or tracking technologies. Only technical data or session mechanisms strictly necessary for the operation and security of the website may be used.

9. Automated decision-making

The Controller does not use automated decision-making or profiling in relation to personal data collected through the website.

10. Rights of the data subject

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, the data subject may request access to, rectification or erasure of personal data, restriction of processing, exercise the right to data portability where applicable, object to processing where the legal basis permits, and withdraw consent at any time. Requests concerning personal data may be submitted through the contact form on the website.

11. Complaints and legal remedies

A data subject who considers that the processing of personal data infringes applicable data protection law may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) and may also seek judicial remedy.

12. Data security

The Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, deletion, destruction, accidental loss or damage.

13. Recruitment and CV database

If you submit your CV through our Apply page, we process the personal data you provide, including your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the information contained in your CV, for the purpose of assessing potential employment or project opportunities and contacting you about suitable opportunities in the future.

Legal basis: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Retention period: we retain the submitted CV and the related applicant data for a maximum of 2 years from the date of submission, unless you withdraw your consent earlier. After the retention period expires, the data will be deleted, unless another legal basis requires or permits further retention.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You may submit your request through the contact form on our website.

14. Amendments

The Controller may amend this Privacy Policy where necessary. The current version is always made available on the website.
